This entrée is sophisticated enough for a special evening yet familiar and kid-friendly enough for any night. Tender Philly-style cut sirloin steak is quickly browned on a skillet, then topped with sliced mushrooms, fresh asparagus spears, diced ham and Swiss cheese. Stovetop: 20 minutes, thawed.
Preparation: Keep frozen until ready to cook.
Cooking Instructions: Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Place steaks in skillet and cook 10 minutes or until steaks have pulled apart and lost most of their red color. Drain and discard juices. Lower heat to medium, and stir in mushrooms. Top with asparagus, ham and Swiss cheese. Cover skillet and let simmer 6-8 minutes until asparagus is tender and cheese is melted.
Suggested Side: Mashed Potato Casserole or Roasted Rosemary Potatoes
Beef and Asparagus Cordon Bleu
