Buttery, brown sugar glaze tops sliced apples that are baked under a rich, tender home-baked cake. You bake this up fresh and turn it out onto a serving plate – beautiful and homey, this cake will disappear in minutes.
Preparation: Thaw completely.
Cooking Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F. Remove lid and remove bags from pan. Spray pan with non-stick coating. Pour contents of apple-mixture bag into bottom of pan; spread evenly. In a medium bowl, combine contents of bag of flour mixture and bag of butter mixture. Mix with a wire whisk for 2 minutes. Pour mixture evenly over apple mixture in pan. Place pan on baking sheet and bake uncovered 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes. Use a knife to loosen cake from sides of pan, and invert onto serving plate. Serve warm. If desired, top with a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice-cream. Cooking times may vary due to differences in ovens.
