Chicken, shrimp, and slices of mild sausage simmer in our fabulous Cajun sauce. This jambalaya will give any good Louisiana cook a run for their money! This big entrée cooks on the stovetop in minutes and will serve your big eaters. Stovetop - 25 minutes if thawed.
Preparation: Thaw completely. If frozen, defrost slightly in microwave before cooking.
Cooking Instructions: Empty bag of sauce into large sauce pan. Add ½ cup of water (1/4 cup water for Regular entree) to bag, swirl and pour into sauce pan. Bring sauce to a boil, lower heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Add bag of meat to sauce and simmer 10-15 minutes, or until shrimp is no longer transparent. Do not over cook, or shrimp will become tough. Place rice in microwaveable container, add 2 tablespoons water (1 tablespoon for Regular entree). Cover and heat in microwave for 1 minute or until hot. Serve jambalaya over hot rice.
